If you are in the process of organizing your wedding, you will probably have already realized how much planning and time it takes to make sure that the big day goes without a hitch.
From wedding rings to the honeymoon, there are so many things to consider that you may end up overlooking the special day that precedes the wedding – your bachelorette party! It's a fabulous opportunity to celebrate your final days as a singleton with those you love the most.
With everything else going on, you might find it a bit overwhelming, so we've put together 5 things to consider when organizing your bachelorette party.
Who is attending?
When dealing with big groups of people, it can be hard to find dates that suit everyone, so one of the first things you should do is write a list of people you want to attend. Once you have figured it out, speak to those most important to you and find out when they are all free.
Once you have a mutually suitable date, create an online group on Whatsapp or Facebook and invite the rest of your attendees.
Book early
You will probably have a reasonable idea of the type of bachelorette party that you would like to have. Perhaps you fancy a quiet affair with a few drinks and dinner, or maybe you want to do some fun activities then hit the bars in the evening.
Whatever you decide, you need to book activities and entertainment as far in advance as possible to avoid being disappointed.
Customized clothing
Customized clothing is a great way to make your bachelorette party a bit more fun and make the day a little bit more special. Personalized T-shirts and custom hats are popular and, when worn en-masse, are sure to attract lots of attention and smiles from onlookers.
If your budget doesn't allow for this, you could always make your own using T-shirt transfer paper and iron though depending on how crafty you are, they may not look as professional as the real thing.
Accommodation
If you are staying local, this is less of an issue but if you fancy a few days away, consider your choice of accommodation wisely. Hotels may be the easiest option, but your party can become a little disjointed if there are lots of you.
Self-catering lodges are a great option and very popular with brides-to-be because they make it easier to socialize with your loved ones all at the same time. Due to their popularity, they can be booked up years in advance so, as soon as you know what you want, secure your booking.
Ask your bridesmaids to help
Your bridesmaids aren't only there to look beautiful when walking down the aisle – they are also there to help, so don't be frightened to allocate duties to them.
They will be just as eager to make your party special, so get them involved, and it will free up some time so you can focus on other wedding-related things.
